As Nike 6.0 comes out with the most innovative products its no surprise that they set their sights to the moon. Nike 6.0’s latest line of action sports gear is inspired by the one and only space cadet Buzz Aldrin. Nike does it up with unique space jackets, NASA patches, and out of this world graphics, but it doesn’t stop there. Nike 6.0 has also released Braata, a new take on the original boat shoe.
Growing up on the lake I’ve always been a fan of “boat shoes”. Well the scientists at Nike 6.0 have taken the boat shoe to the next level.
May I introduce the Braata:
Now this isn’t any shoe this is especially made for you avid WAKESKATERS or ANYONE THAT WANTS TO LOOK FLY ! “Built with Nike Free technology, the Braata’s uber-flex allows the foot to follow its natural movements and provides unprecedented board-feel that’s tempered with support in all the right places. The Braata’s cold-wrap construction process reduces environmental impact and also allows the insert of a cushioned midsole, differentiating it from traditional vulcanized shoes” (Nike 6.0).
The current colors for the Braata are green, blue, black, and white, but expect many, many more colors to follow.
Right off the release of the Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III check out the latest video from the campaign…keep your eyes open for some special guest
If releasing one signature shoe through Louis Vuitton wasn’t enough, Mr. West has teamed up with the people at Nike to release the Air Yeezy. And I gotta say not a bad looking shoe, nice job Kanye.
No word yet on the release date.
