-then once Mayer starts playing the guitar part for Jay-Z’s “DOA,” down comes the house.

Billionaire Boys Club, a clothing line affiliated with Pharrell Williams (Neptunes, NERD), has a new T-shirt design in celebration of Jay-Z’s new album Blue Print 3.

Apparently being at the top just isn’t enough for Mr. Carter.

Having come out of his brief “retirement”, Jay-Z is now getting ready to release the third installment of  The Blueprint. To top that off the ENTIRE ALBUM is being leaked on MTV.com for fans to preview. Some may say it is better to wait until the album officially hits stores, September 11, to listen to the latest and greatest from HOVA….but apparently with this recent album leak, Jay-Z must not be too worried about letting his audience hear the album before they purchase it. I respect a man who is confident in his work.

A day after his performance at the BET Awards, Jay-Z has released his music video for the track, “Death of Autotune“. The song is pretty much self-explanatory about how the rap/hip-hop world is losing its edge by allowing technology to give music more fluff and a less raw vibe. I must say it is humbling for someone who has accomplished so much already to come out and try and keep the talent based on the individual…not the technology of the latest software.

And keep a lookout for the NBA’s League MVP, Lebron James, in the video as well…don’t expect any MVP moves though.

Hova is planning to put out his next album, Blueprint 3, in stores on September 11, 2009.
