In a classic interview with CNN the boys from Cobra Starship (Gabe Saporta and Ryland Blackinton) can be found addressing everything from bathing to their confrontation with Ashley Tisdale.
With their new album, Hot Mess, about to drop on August 11, 2009 the boys (and girl) from Cobra Starship have released their new single “Good Girls Go Bad“ on their Myspace page. Like most Cobra songs, it makes your hips involuntarily thrust and gives you uncontrollable “happy feet”. One of the surprises with this track is that the band brought in the vocal services of Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester. Who not only is easy on the eyes, but easy on the ears as well.
And with the most interesting song title in a while Cobra Starship has released a new track from their forthcoming album:
3 Albums in 3 Years is the trend Cobra Starship has been following. The band just announced they hope to release their third album by July. According to Gabe Saporta, “We want to make a soundtrack for going out on the town,”. The album was produced by the one and only Patrick Stump who produced their last album entitled “Viva la Cobra”. The forthcoming album was “written in a remote Appalachian Pennsylvania cabin. Saporta says the album mixes straight-ahead punk (“Pete Wentz Is the Only Reason We’re Famous”) and out-there synth jams influenced by electronica duo Ratatat.”…interesting
