I’ll get straight to the point, M. Night Shyamalan wants to make Unbreakable 2…you remember the first Unbreakable right? David Dunn (Bruce Willis) a security guard  escapes a horrific train crash unharmed. only to have Elijah Price aka Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) contact him about a crazy theory he has. One that states  the two individuals”seem to be linked by a curve, but sitting on opposite ends”, meaning Willis has superhero like strength and Jackson doesn’t, ergo he is fragile. Remember? Well that being said, at a recent press event Shyamalan would love to make Unbreakable 2, however he is lacking the key ingredients….Willis, Jackson, and a script. According to Shyamalan, “I don’t know where all the parties are in the world. Sam [Jackson] is like ‘Mr. Comic Book’ now. And Bruce, I don’t know what he’s up to. I don’t know where Disney’s at in their head and what kind of movies they’re up for making. But yeah, I love that movie.” (MTV News). And as far as the script goes Shyamalan hasn’t written it yet, which is understandable considering he is midway into filming Airbender (based on the cartoon). Only time will tell what will become of Dunn and Price, but all I can say is I’d love to see another Unbreakable, although Lady in the Water and The Happening were questionable films Shyamalan is bound for a good movie…right?
